These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of SherloX, a product developed and operated by Sherlabs.xyz ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the SherloX website, Chrome extension, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

SherloX is an OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) tool for investigating publicly available information about X (formerly Twitter) accounts. The Service allows users to scan accounts to reveal username history, bio history, top crypto followers, mentioned crypto contracts, and deleted tweets.

2. Account and Authentication

To use certain features of the Service, you must sign in using your X (Twitter) account via OAuth. By signing in, you authorize us to access your public X profile information (username, display name, profile image) for authentication purposes only. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your X account.

3. Credits and Payments

3.1 Credit System

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each scan item costs 1 credit. New users receive 3 free credits upon first login. Additional credits can be purchased through the Service.

3.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's Services Agreement and Privacy Policy. We do not store your payment card details.

3.3 Refund Policy

Credits are non-refundable once purchased. If you experience a technical issue that results in credits being consumed without delivering scan results, please contact us and we will review your case and may issue credit refunds at our discretion.

3.4 Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to modify credit pricing at any time. Any changes will apply only to future purchases and will not affect credits already purchased.

5. Data Accuracy and Disclaimer

Scan results are derived from publicly available information and third-party data sources. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of scan results. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Information provided by the Service should not be used as the sole basis for any financial, legal, or personal decisions.

6. User Responsibility and Data Use Disclaimer

SherloX provides publicly available information for research and informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for how you use the data obtained through the Service. Sherlabs.xyz is not responsible for any actions taken by users based on scan results, including but not limited to investment decisions, personal judgments, accusations, or any other use of the information.

You acknowledge that the data provided by the Service is sourced from public records and third-party services, and you agree not to hold Sherlabs.xyz liable for any consequences arising from your use or misuse of this data. Use of scan results for harassment, defamation, discrimination, or any unlawful purpose is strictly prohibited.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, code, and algorithms, is the intellectual property of Sherlabs.xyz. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. Scan results may be used for personal and informational purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sherlabs.xyz and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sherlabs.xyz, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including X (Twitter) for authentication and Stripe for payment processing. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances without prior notice.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits are non-transferable and non-refundable upon termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing other remedies.
